Miss SDL Swimsuit entry

I dreaded the swimsuit round just because it's so difficult to challenge yourself and do something different.
One misconception everyone seems to use is that water is always blue and I really didn't want to be limited like that so I pushed myself into using the less common browns and greens of said liquid.

the word Hydrology is the name of the study of water.

Also I'm feeling completely guilty over the incomplete lace in the previous round's entry, so to make it up to you Avvocotessa is sporting a 1950's influenced lace swimsuit, entirely zoomed in and drawn by me. Inventing lace patterns in fact, sucks, but I owed you all.

Hopefully my debt is repaid?

I used several references for the pose, hands and feet and I was unfairly empowered by these bubble brushes, lord bless their maker: [link]

I think it was a great idea to experiment with the colors. You can still tell that it's water and the colors add more depth. Great job on the suit design too! It's sexy, but still a little modest. The sensuality of the whole piece really draws you in.

And yes, God Bless Brush-makers! lol

Love the realistic feel of the person. Hands and feet are just lovely and I applaud this drawing. Nicely done!

Don't look down on anime artists! It takes a hell lot more imagination to deform everything, but still make it look kickass :D
